1. Introduction of KAPIS (Kalkudah Association of Professionals, Intellectuals, and Social Activists)

The absence of a common communication platform for interaction among diverse groups, including intellectuals, university students, professionals, and social service activists, poses a significant challenge in our region. To address this gap, KAPIS, along with its website, the KAPIS Members Network System, and the KAPIS WhatsApp community, has been established. This initiative could be a transformative solution, offering several key benefits:

a. Fostering Unity across Diverse Sectors: This initiative could serve as a pivotal step in uniting a society currently fragmented along political, regional, and professional lines. It would provide a shared space to address and discuss issues of common concern, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.

b. Mentorship and Career Guidance: The community could facilitate connections between leading experts in various fields and university students or recent graduates. This mentorship platform can offer invaluable guidance, assisting in career development both locally and internationally.

c. Economic Development and Job Creation: Leveraging the collective resources and networks within this community, we can bring together influential individuals capable of mobilizing funds. Such efforts can significantly contribute to job creation, supporting many families and bolstering the regional economy.

d. Addressing Social Challenges: A long-term action plan can be developed within this community to tackle issues like poverty and moral challenges in the region. This collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive and sustainable strategy.

2. Compliance with PDPA

In compliance with Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, our organization ensures that all member information is collected only with their explicit consent. This data will be utilized solely for the operational purposes of the organization, adhering strictly to the principles of this legislation.

3. Collection of Personal Data

To register for membership in the KAPIS web social network and to initiate a project through our platform, providing specific personal data on the application forms is a requisite. The necessary details include your name, gender, address, email address, a self-chosen password, phone number, educational background, the name of the university or college you attended, a detailed description of your proposed project, its anticipated implementation timeline, and funding details. Supplying this information is crucial for the processing of your application. We assure you that this data will be used solely for the purposes of our organization. Your password remains confidential and is known only to you, ensuring your privacy and security.

4. Data Protection

All personal data provided will be securely stored and kept confidential within our web data storage and backup systems. This information will be shared only with relevant parties directly involved in each project, strictly adhering to the purposes aligned with our organization’s objectives.

5. Data Subject Rights

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, users are entitled to access, modify, or delete their personal information if they consider it to be incorrect or misrepresented. To facilitate this, changes to the provided data can be made by completing a data change application form (Send a request to hazeemdeen@kapis.org).

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

No third party can access the data. Rather, data may be shared as required by law, i.e. at the request of the courts or at the request of the defense as required by law. Data will not be shared with any other third party without the consent of you.

7. Data Retention Period

All data provided by users will be retained in storage until the end of their cooperation with this organization. If they choose to opt out or leave the system, all their data will be deleted.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Any changes or updates to the terms and conditions will be communicated and made available to all members.

9. Clarity and Doubt

10. Revoke the Consent

You may revoke this consent and withdraw your membership application or your project application, in cases where you are no longer able to continue participating in the organization or your project.

11. KAPIS Members Network System

An exclusive social network for KAPIS, known as the KAPIS Members Network System, is integrated into this web portal. Upon the completion and acceptance of your application form by KAPIS, a distinct Public User Profile will be created for you within the KAPIS Members Network System.

With your User Profile, you can request to join your respective Association within the KAPIS Members Network System. Once a Founding or Controlling Member responsible for the Association accepts your request, you will be added to it. In this Association, you can discuss important issues related to projects coordinated by KAPIS, or alternatively, you can use the WhatsApp Community.

If you wish to initiate a project within any of the categories listed on the KAPIS Home Page, you can send a request to join the relevant project team after obtaining KAPIS membership. To do this, submit a Proposal Form pertaining to your project.

If you post important updates related to your project or field on your User Profile, these posts will be included in the Activity Stream of the KAPIS Members Network System. All posts by KAPIS members, except those within individual Associations, will be displayed in this Activity Stream. This feature allows all members know the activities of others at a glance. Additionally, you can share these posts on social platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

The primary objective of the KAPIS Members Network System is to facilitate various associations and their projects, involving the participation of hundreds of members across multiple sectors. This system allows all member activities to be visible in a single stream (Activity Page) and providing a comprehensive overview at a glance.

With this advanced technology, the activities of all members can be easily managed and secured. Additionally, the KAPIS Members Network System enables the general public, who are not KAPIS members, to gain insight into the organization’s transparency.

When you interact with other members via your User Profile on the KAPIS Members Network System and the KAPIS WhatsApp Community, you connect with them through comments, reactions, profile views, friend requests, and group requests. Your information will be shared with members you interact with or who interact with you. By submitting this form, you agree to these terms.

2. PDPA உடன் இணங்குதல்

இலங்கையில் உருவாக்கபட்ட 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டின் 9 ஆம் இலக்க, தனிப்பட்ட தரவுப் பாதுகாப்புச் சட்டத்தினை ஒத்துப்போகும் வகையில் இவ்வமைப்பில் தொடர்புபடும் அங்கத்தவர்களின் தகவல்கள் அவர்களின் சம்மதத்துடன் சேகரிக்கப்பட்டு இவ்வமைப்பின் செயற்பாடுகளுக்காக பயன்படுத்தப்படும்.

3. தனிப்பட்ட தரவு வழங்கும் விபரம்

KAPIS வலையமைப்பில் இணைவதற்கான விண்ணப்ப படிவம் மற்றும் ஒரு வேலை திட்டத்தினை ஆரம்பிப்பப்பதற்கான விண்ணப்பபடிவம் போன்றவற்றை நிரப்புவதற்கான தரவுகள் ஆவண பெயர், பாலினம், முகவரி, இணையத்தள முகவரி, கடவுச்சொல், தொலைபேசி இல, கல்வித்தகமை, கற்ற பல்கலைக்கழகம் அல்லது கல்லூரி, நடைமுறைபடுத்த முயலும் திட்டம், திட்டத்தினை நடைமுறைப்படுத்த எடுக்கும் காலம், திட்டத்திற்கு தேவையான நிதி போன்றன கட்டாயமாக எதிர்பார்க்கப்படும் தரவுகள் ஆகும். இதரவுகள் இவ்வமைப்பின் நோக்கத்திற்க்கான செயற்பாடுகளுக்கு மாத்திரமே பயன்படுத்தப்படும். மேலும் கடவு சொல்லினை User இனை தவிர யாரும் அறிய முடியாது.

4. தனிப்பட்ட தரவு பாதுகாப்பு

வழங்கப்படும் அனைத்து தனிப்பட்ட தரவுகளையும் பாதுகாப்பாகவும் பகிரப்படாமலும் பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட இவ் வலையமைப்பின் தகவல் சேமிப்பு தளத்திலும் மற்றும் காப்பு தளங்களிலும் சேகரிக்கப்பட்டு இருக்கும். இத்தகவல்கள் துறை சார் திட்டத்திற்கும் இவ் அமைப்பின் நோக்கத்திற்கான தேவைகளுக்கும் அதனுடன் சம்பத்தப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு மாத்திரமே பகிரப்படும்.

5. தரவுகளில் மாற்றம் செய்யுதல்

2022 ஆம் ஆண்டின் 9 ஆம் இலக்க, தனிப்பட்ட தரவுப் பாதுகாப்புச் சட்டத்தின் பிரகாரம் பயனர்களால் வழங்கப்பட்ட தரவுகள் பிழையானது அல்லது தவறானதாக குறிப்பிடப்பட்டு விட்டது என்று எண்ணினால் அவர்களுடைய தகவல்களை மாற்றவோ அழிக்கவோ அவர்களுக்கு உரிமையுள்ளது (Send a request to hazeemdeen@kapis.org). இதற்காக ஒரு தரவு மாற்ற விண்ணப்ப படிவம் ஒன்றினை பூர்த்தி செய்வதன் மூலம் தங்களால் வழங்கப்பட்ட தரவுகளில் மாற்றங்களை ஏற்படுத்த முடியும்.

6. தரவு பகிர்வு மற்றும் தகவல்களை வெளிப்படுத்தல்

எந்த மூன்றாம் தரப்பினரும் தரவை அணுக முடியாது. மாறாக சட்டத்தின்படி அதாவது நீதிமன்றங்களின் வேண்டுகோள்கிணங்க அல்லது சட்டத்திற்கு உட்பட்டவாறு பாதுகாப்பு தரப்பினது வேண்டுகோளினத்திற்கு இணங்க தரவுகள் பகிரப்படலாம். சம்பந்த பட்டவர்களின் ஒப்புதல் இல்லாமல் வேறு எந்த மூன்றாம் தரப்பினருக்கும் தரவுகள் பகிரப்படாது.

7. தரவு வைத்திருத்தல் காலம்

பயனர்களால் வழங்கப்பட்ட தரவுகள் அனைத்தும் அவர்கள் இவ்வமைப்பின் செயல்பாட்டில் இணைந்து செயல்படும் இறுதிக்காலம் வரை சேமிப்பில் வைத்திருக்கப்படும். மேலும் இவ் அமைப்பிலிருந்து விலக்கப்பட்டாலோ அல்லது விலகிச் சென்றாலோ அவர்களுடைய தரவுகள் அனைத்தும் நீக்கப்படும்.

8. விதிமுறைகள் மற்றும் நிபந்தனைகளில் மாற்றங்கள்.

உங்களுக்கு கூறப்பட் விதிமுறைகள் மற்றும் நிபந்தனைகளில் மாற்றங்களோ அல்லது புதுப்பித்தல்களோ ஏற்பட்டால் அது அங்கத்தவர்களுக்கு பகிரப்படும்.

11. KAPIS Members Network System

KAPIS இற்கான ஒரு பிரத்தியோகமான சமூக வலையமைப்பு (KAPIS Members Network System) ஓன்று இந்த Web Portal இல் உள்ளது. இந்த அமைப்பில் நுழைவதற்கான விண்ணப்பம் படிவம் நிரப்பப்பட்டு அது KAPIS இனால் அது ஏற்று கொள்ளப்பட்ட உடனேயே உங்களுக்கான ஒரு தனி Public User Profile ஓன்று KAPIS Members Network System இல் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுவிடும்.

உங்கள் User Profile இணை கொண்டு KAPIS Members Network System இல் உள்ள உங்கள் துரை சார்ந்த Association இல் இணைவதற்கான கோரிக்கையினை விடுவிக்கமுடியும், உங்கள் கோரிக்கையினை குறித்த துறைக்கு பொறுப்பான Founding/Controlling Member ஒருவரினால் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்டவுடன் உங்கள் Association இல் இணைக்கப்படுவீர்கள். இந்த Association இல் KAPIS இன் உங்கள் துறைசார்ந்த வேலைத்திட்டம் தொடர்பானவிடயங்க முக்கியமான விடயங்களை கலந்துரையாடகொள்ளமுடியும் அல்லது இதற்கு மாற்றீடாக WhatsApp Community இனை பயன் படுத்தமுடியும்.

KAPIS இன் Home Page இல் வகைப்படுத்தப்பட்ட ஏதாவது ஒரு வேலைத்திட்டத்தினை KAPIS அமைப்புடன் சேர்ந்து செய்ய விரும்பினால் KAPIS அங்கத்துவத்தை பெற்றெபின் உங்கள் வேலைத்திட்டம் தொடர்பான Proposal Form ஒன்றினை சமர்ப்பிப்பது மூலம் அத் துறை சார் வேலை திட்ட குழுவினுள் இணைந்து உங்கள் செயற்பாடுகளை தொடர முடியும்.

உங்கள் துறை தொடர்பான அல்லது உங்களது வேலைத்திட்டம் தொடர்பான முக்கியமான விடயங்களை உங்கள் User Profile இனில் பதிவிட்டால் அப்பதிவு KAPIS Members Network System இல் உள்ள Activity Stream இனுள் வந்துவிடும், இந்த Activity Stream இனுள் KAPIS அங்கத்தவர்கள் பதிவிடும் பதிவுகள் (தனிப்பட்ட Association இனுள் பதிவிடுவதை தவிர) அனைத்தும் மொத்தமாக வெளிப்படுத்தப்படும். இதன் மூலம் அணைத்து அங்கத்தவர்க்குள்ளும் மற்றவர்களின் செயற்பாடுகளை ஒரே பார்வையில் அறிய முடியும். மேலும் இப் பதிவுகளை Facebook, Twitter போன்றவற்றிலும் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளலாம்.
